Arima Grand Hotel
This is a resort hotel on a hill with a panoramic view of Arima Onsen.
In addition to the famous Kinsen and Ginsen, the hot springs with the longest history of human use in Japan, there are various spa facilities (for a fee), such as a low-temperature sauna that is friendly to women, a flowing pool for walking with a massage effect, and Aqua Terrace, a spa with an outdoor heated pool where you can swim anytime except in the middle of winter. In the women’s section, a rose bath is offered irregularly (basically on Wednesdays). Other special events are also sometimes held, including a salt-making workshop using Kinsen, which you can experience only in Arima.
