Koiso Memorial Museum of Art

This museum keeps a collection of approximately 2,900 works by Ryohei Koiso, one of Japan’s representative Western-style painters, who was born in Kobe and continued to create his works there. The museum has not only three exhibition rooms but also a courtyard in which Koiso’s atelier has been relocated and restored. You can enjoy Koiso’s artworks to your heart’s content in this museum into which bright sunlight pours.
