Moegi House, designated an Important Cultural Property by the Japanese government
This is an ijinkan, or a Western-style building, constructed in 1902 as the residence of Hunter Sharp, the U.S. Consul General. It features bay windows of different shapes, arabesque-patterned stairs, and a massive mantelpiece.
